My library is dedicated to children who are 2-18 years old. The library is named "Booksitter" (Books + Babysitter), and accordingly it provides babysitting services.
 The library is named "Booksitter" (Books + Babysitter), and accordingly it provides babysitting services. The librarians are professionals from the education field – teachers, psychologists. For every age group, there is a suitable caring service.
I have conducted a survey among 53 parents (in Tel Aviv area) to children in the ages 2-18, to examine the necesserity of the services my library provides. The results were unequivocal, there is a high need of such a service, and most parents would gladly put their children in the hands of professionals, who are specialized in work with kids and teens.
Through extensive research I have learnt the phases of child development and deeply understood the needs of each age group, accordingly I've set the location the pavilions in the space and adjusted the different programmes.
The movement in the space and the passage between the pavilions is through ramps, which leads eventually to the uppermost part of the space, where the main information pavilion is located. To each pavilion there are two ways of access, a regular path for parents and staff, and an experiential way for the children, designed to enrich the experience (a suited way to each age group):

5-8: a slide

9-12: skateboard / roller-skates ramp

13-15: a climbing wall and a fireman's pole

16-18: a zip-line
The main idea is to impart the children an enjoyable environment which combines educational content.  The goal is to make the children want to visit the library, draw them back to the recently neglected reading world, and provide a supportive and attentive environment for them. parents who leave their children in the library would be able to choose whether to stay and spend extra time with them or to use this time to achieve some of their personal goals (career related, studies, etc.)
